Senior Software Developer

Fulltime

your challenge

From requirement to effective solution

You translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions for our clients. You develop and optimize these solutions, with an extra focus on performance. In addition, you're always available to support your colleagues when technical issues arise.

a day in the life

of a senior software developer

You get a coffee at the office kitchen and catch up with your colleagues.
Kickstart the day with the technical analysis of a new project. Because the standard applications are not a perfect fit, you work out a solution together with the functional consultant. During lunch hour, you go for a walk. In the afternoon, you've got a paired programming session planned with one of your colleagues, on a live (web) application. You finish the day with a couple of emails, setting up a functional test with key users at the client. Tomorrow, you'll work at home so you can go for a long bike ride after lunch.

you are

a sage

You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in IT, and at least 3 to 5 years of experience as an Analyst-Developer. You work mainly in a .net (C#) environment and you know SQL. Experience with Sharepoint is a nice-to-have. If you've got a strong interest in business processes, we'd be over the moon.

Senior Functional Analyst

fulltime

your challenge

UX design thinking

You capture the business requirements for further development of our current application RegSol, and for the new RegCol project. You're the invaluable link between business and IT: you translate the client's needs into neat functional analyses and practical user stories for our development team.

a day in the life

of a senior functional analyst

You kick off your day with the drafting of a to-do list for the coming weeks, so your project can meet the deadline. The client has detected a couple of issues, and you dedicate one hour of focussed attention to come up with the solutions. During the Teams meeting with your junior functional analyst and overall project manager, you decide on the next steps for the development team. In the afternoon, you concentrate on the technical analysis that the development team proposes.

you are

the best of both worlds

You've been drafting functional analyses for IT-applications for about 5 years (or more). You speak IT language with developers and talk business with the client. Above all, you're someone who knows how to stay on top of things, keep the overview of a project, and stay connected with all stakeholders.

your challenge

Born to make an impact

Complexity is hard. At the same time, everything is hard before it is easy. Do you have the skills, the expertise, and most of all the willpower to illuminate the path, fill in the blanks, and square the circle? Then we need you

a day in the life

of your colleagues

Get yourself a coffee at the office kitchen, and catch up with your colleagues. Afterward, you prepare the upcoming Aginco clinics (regular online sessions for RegSol users). During the lunch break, you go for a walk with your team. In the afternoon, you check in with the developers about the new platform you're building for the Belgian government. And you wrap up the day with a follow-up on a lead for a new project in Germany.

you are

impatient

You can't wait to get started at Aginco, and to help us untangle the knots, build platforms that make a (lot of) people's life easier, and adapt continually.
